Hansa is a fully integrated multi modular system. Once introduced data are available at all times and may be used by all system components. For example you can automatically generate purchase orders, cost distribution, invoices and payments directly from the offer. Above mentioned documents are generated with a single click.

Hansa offers multiple functionalities for companies that are based in various countries throughout the world and use various languages. In many options of the application you can introduce data on the language used. Such data later are used for documents print out in a requested language. This functionality may be used also to control several specialized determinations used by various contractors.

All forms provided by Hansa may be individually modified by each user. In each form you can change the following: position, size, font and style. You can modify those fields, delete them altoghether or you add new fields of your choice. You may add to the form additional text, lines, images (company logo). Each form may be assigned to a printer and a given language. You can define print order of individual documents depending on the progress of operation.

System allows you to create back-ups in a fast and straightforward manner (security system back-up). When you apply this function a text file will be created. You can also export data from each system component into the text file ASCII format that is compatible with majority of applications. Data recovery from a back-up file is quite straightforward. System offers a functionality that reads such files and recovers the database. You can import into your system the data generated in another system. Import and export formats are supplied by Hansa Business Solutions representatives.

You can assign access privilages to the groups of users, which specify their access to data modules, reports, documents, export and import functionalities.

Hansa has been designed in such a way as to allow fast and easy data introduction. You can operate the application with a mouse or a keyboard. On data introduction Hansa suggests default pre-defined data. All system windows are transparent and do not have any obsolete buttons and color descriptions. All reports are diplayed on the screen in a transparent manner (they fit the screen size) and are printed with the use of a legible font. Hansa as a Windows based application allows its user to open multiple windows as requested. You do not need to close one window to introduce data into another. Hansa operates and was designed in such a way as to fascilitate work.

The system was programed in ANSI C language to limit system and RAM memory requirements. Data are processed very fast. The lag in screen refreshment is negligible. Hansa’s structure is based on object base. Thanks to such a solution it has the fastest graphic interface of all available management assistance systems. Thanks to object data base and its index structure (other than relation bases) Hansa is much less susceptible to hard disk and network issues. Hansa’s architecture is Client – Server type and allows smart data exchange between server and multiple users.

Hansa has been designed in such a way as to send smallest possible data packages through Internet. System interface i.e. screen and graphics are stored in the Client, therefore only data are sent throught the network. In case of multiple workstation configuration the load of network stays negligible. Thanks to this feature Hansa operates fast both in large installations and in dial-up configurations. Hansa uses TCP/IP protocol that is fully compatible with Internet standards. It allows to connect with server data base by means of Interent connection. You may have more than one server and remotely connect with those servers by means of dial-up or LAN. This feature is used mostly by the companies with multiple branches, that provide various services and the companies that provide services with the use of the system.

Hansa Financials has its own internal and external mail client. Hansa Mail is compatible with POP3 and SMTP protocols thanks to which you may exchange mail externally. E-mail messages are editable i.e. each recipient of one message sees the whole history of that message. Hansa offers the possibility of real-time chats between users. Hansa Mail is an intergal system component thanks to which you can send by e-mail any document introduced into the system(e.g. offer). In Hansa Mail you can define conferences (custom number is 10) with various access privilages to each conference. You can collect important company data and documents which are provided to you on the basis of your access privilages.

Hansa Application Language (HAL) – Hansa’s programming language fascilitates communication with other technologies: WAP mobile – HAL may use WAP mobile protocole for WML communication. Thanks to this feature there is a possibility to create a WAP mobile based application without the need of WAP server use. (The communication takes place directly between Hansa and mobile phone). For example field workers may introduce work charts and expenditures reports via WAP mobile.
