Enterprise by HansaWorld works for you and has been designed so as to facilitate your job to the further possible extent.
Enterprise by HansaWorld has been designed to enable quick and easy data entry.
The program can be operated using a mouse or keyboard. While entering documents HansaWorld suggests pre-defined default data.
All of the windows are clear and transparent; there are no unnecessary buttons and colour markings.
All reports are presented on the screen in a clear and transparent way (located within the screen) and are printed in legible font.
Enterprise by HansaWorld as a typical Windows application allows you to simultaneously open as many windows as you need at the moment. There is no need to close one window to begin entering data in another one.
Multi- language
Enterprise by HansaWorld has a lot of features prepared for companies based in different countries and often command different languages. In many places within the system, you can enter data in foreign languages so that later you can use them to print documents in appropriate languages. This functionality can also be used to control specialised terms used by different contractors. HansaWorld has been translated into 29 languages and has been used by companies in 110 countries worldwide.
Designing forms and printouts
All forms of print-outs provided by HansaWorld can be individually modified by users.
For every form the following fields can be changed: position, size, font, style.
You can delete or add new fields, enter additional text, lines or images (e.g. company logo). Every form can have a different language and a printer assigned. You can define a print order of individual documents, depending on the progress of operation.
Operation speed
The system was written in ANSI C language and designed to minimise hardware requirements and required RAM.
The data are processed very quickly, resulting in a negligible delay while refreshing screens. Enterprise by HansaWorld has been an object-oriented system, so that it has got the fastest graphical user interface taking into consideration all the support management systems available at the market.
With the object database and its structure of indices (other than in relational databases) HansaWorld is much less susceptible to occurrence of problems with hard drive or network problems.
HansaWorld has got a client - server architecture, which provides intelligent data exchange between server and multiple users.
Networks and Internet
HansaWorld has been designed to transfer the smallest possible packages of information over the network.
The system interface: screens and graphics are stored on the client, therefore only data is sent over the network. At multi-terminal installation the network load is low so HansaWorld is quick both in large installations as well as with dial-up connection. HansaWorld uses TCP / IP fully compatible with Internet standards. It allows you to:
• connect to database at the server through Internet
• possess more than one server and link them remotely via a dial-up or Internet.
This functionality is mainly used by multi-branches companies, companies with several types of activities and through service providers using the system.
Backup copy, data export and import
The system allows you to make a backup (safety) copy of the system very promptly and without any difficulties. After applying the function a text file is created. You can also export data from different parts of the system in an ASCII text file format, which is read by most of other applications. Data recovery from backup is very simple. The system is equipped with the function that is accountable for reading such files and restoring the database. You can also import data created in another system. Data import and export formats are provided by representatives of HansaWorld Poland Sp. z o.o..

Hans Mail chat and conferences
Enterprise by HansaWorld has its own system of internal and external e-mail.
HansaWorld Mail is compatible with POP3 and SMTP, so you can exchange e-mails externally. E-mails can be edited, i.e., each recipient sees the whole history of a message in one e-mail. HansaWorld allows to have real-time conversations between users of the system so called Chat. HansaWorld Mail constitutes an integral part of the system, which allows you to send any document entered into the system (e.g. offers) via e-mail. In HansaWorld Mail, you can define Conferences (10 as a standard) with different access rights to each of them. Conferences are designed to collect relevant company information and documents made available to appropriate users depending on their access rights.
Hansa Application Language (HAL) and connection
HansaWorld Application Language (HAL) - HansaWorld programming language which enables communication with other technologies: Mobile phones with WAP - HAL services can be used for communication in WML WAP phone protocol. Thus it is possible to develop an application running on WAP mobile phones, without having to use the WAP server - communication takes place directly between the HansaWorld server and a mobile phone. Your employees performing fieldwork can enter work cards or expenses via their WAP phones.
