History of Ekkom

It was the beginning of the 90s - the period of great changes in our country. The Czuchajewscy worked then in a large manufacturing company at the positions related to accounting. 1992 came when they took the decision to start their business. Why? Well …

Ambition, willingness to develop and drive to do something interesting prompted us to take the decision to open our business. Working full time did not satisfy us, restrict our capabilities and willingness to achieve something more than working in the proverbial system "from ... to ..." - unanimously say the Czuchajewscy.

The decision to open an accounting office was based on observation of the market and desire for personal growth.

Then more and more new businesses arose in Poland. The free market was established. A lot of entrepreneurs of the new wave had no idea about the bookkeeping, we went out to meet them halfway - they add.

This is how Ekkom Accounting Office Civil Partnership was set up. Initially the office occupied the space of 16 m2 and was located in Braniborska St. in Wrocław. In the course of time the company started by the Czuchajewscy grew and so in 1995 they decided to move their business to larger premises. In 1995 - 1998 the office occupied the space of 30 m2 and was located in Legnicka St. in Wrocław.

Six people, including us, worked then - they say.

1998 became a landmark year; the office grew again and again had to move. Then it was decided to move the company to the current address - 68a Robotnicza St. at the area of Archimedes.

Initially, we were at 300 m2, and in 2002 we had to enlarge it by further 450 m2. Today, our centre is located at 750 m2.- Mr. Edward Czuchajewski makes it precise.

2002 was a milestone in the history of Ekkom.

In February, the accounting office (a civil partnership) turned into Ekkom Financial and Accounting Centre Ltd. Co. with a registered capital at the level of PLN 0.5 M.

This year was also a breakthrough in the Ekkom offer as the latest technology - software Hansa World - was introduced then. It has become a distinguishing feature of the company which struck out from the competition. Since the time, it has provided not only expertise but also the most modern solutions to support management of Clients' businesses.

In 2002 the Czuchajewscy decided to open its business for companies with foreign capital.

We began to recruit fluent English speakers - said Mrs. Jolanta Czuchajewska.

Our offer of services to foreign companies expanded. Today, foreign companies account for about 60% of all operated businesses. Currently, the Ekkom Financial and Accounting Centre renders services to companies, among others, with Japanese, British, Irish, German, French and Spanish capital. Naturally, there are also companies with domestic capital.

At present 40 ambitious people with higher education in economics, fluent in speaking several European languages, work with us - Jolanta Czuchajewska adds.
